By-product vs grain ? which one is the worst?

your kitten still needs dry food as well, and some rice or some grain isn't going to kill her.. what you have to watch out for is how far up the ingredient list it is; in other words is it mainly cheap filler that your cat won't digest or get nutrients from, or is it just one of the lower ingredients?
