Can I use some kind of rutty to smooth over my Ford emblem in my steering wheel?

There is a for emblem in my steering wheel that is just an imprint. There are also the 2 horn logos on it. I am re-doing the interior or my truck and wanted to put something in it and smooth it over so that it is a smooth surface so I can paint it. I want no emblems on my truck and I only have this one an the grille left. Anything I can use?
