Do you think the Elgin Marbles should be returned to Athens?

Absolutely not. The Earl of Elgin found them lying in a heap, and took them to preserve them. Of course the Greeks want them back, countries always want artifacts back, especially if they are impressive, but think how boring museums would be if they all had to to return their foreign items to the country of origin. Don't tell me Greek museums don't have foreign items in them too. If they wanted to keep them, they should have looked after them better in the first place, rather than leaving them in a sad state of neglect for Scottish aristocrats to find and preserve.
