So heres the situation, should we wait for the wedding; or go ahead?

My fiance and I have been together for 5+ years. We have an 11 month old daughter and have been engaged for over a year now. We are each covered under our parents insurances at the moment and we bought private insurance for our daughter. I an almost 21 and he is almost 23. I will be covered with my mom until I am 24 and him with his mom until 24. If we get married before then, we each loose our health insurance. If we didnt have insurace we could techinically qualify for the state family medicaid program and that would cover our daughter and both of us (we might make too much). It wouldnt be free, but there would only be like a $30 deductable for each of our visits, and the baby would be free. I am not a freeloader and dont really think that this is too good of an option. However I cant wait to be married. We dont make enough to pay for ourselves in insurance we looked into every company we could find. Would you wait do it and go without coverage or do it and try for state insurance?
