What action can my friend take against someone who has not come to pick up her belongings?

A friend of mine and her had been friends for over 20 years. She had been living with her for a year. She pretended to be pregnant. No one ever noticed she wasn't because she had carried small with her first two kids earlier on in her life. She is 45 years old and a freeloader, does not work and uses her family and friends. She has asked her to pick up her clothes, she wants nothing to do with her because of all the lies she has told to her family and friends. It has been over 30 days and she has spoken to the police and has considered just bringing her things to good will but is afraid she might retaliate in some way. She texted her last night and asked to pick up her stuff and she started calling her the "C" word among other nasty comments. All she wants is to get her out of her life and move on. What should she do if the you know what doesn't come by to get her things? What are her rights?
