What kind of canine worm is thin and long?

I am babysitting a friends 16 week old min pin, she said she had been vomiting the last few days. But seemed ok today, well she dropped her off this afternoon and I thought she was fine but she just vomited 5 times and on the 5th time she had LIVE small white worms that were thin and wiggly! What are they and how do I treat them? She is on an airplane so I can't tell her till morning... HELP!
